2020 Clos de la Grande Grange Bio Cotes-du-Rhone Rouge
From the sun-drenched hills of the Aude in southern France, this certified organic Cotes-du-Rhone Rouge expresses the warmth and generosity of a Mediterranean terroir farmed with respect for the land.
Grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache
Terroir: Stony, clay-limestone soils bathed in southern sunshine, cooled by mistral breezes that preserve freshness and aromatic precision.
Vinification & ageing: Organic viticulture, hand-sorted fruit, traditional vatting with gentle extraction, followed by ageing on fine lees to round the tannins.
COLOUR: Deep ruby with garnet highlights.
NOSE: Ripe blackberry, blueberry, garrigue herbs and a whisper of black pepper.
PALATE: Supple and juicy, with silky tannins, layers of dark fruit and a savoury, peppery finish.
FOOD PAIRING: Grilled lamb, ratatouille, herb-crusted beef and aged hard cheeses.
