Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to recognise your browser, remember your preferences, and provide essential functionality such as a working shopping basket. We also use similar technologies (e.g. local storage, pixels), referred to collectively as “cookies” in this policy.

2. Categories of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies: required for the Site and checkout to function (cart, login, security, fraud prevention). These do not require consent.
  • Functional cookies: remember preferences such as language, currency or recently viewed wines.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how the Site is used (page views, traffic sources, performance), in aggregated form.
  • Marketing cookies: used to measure advertising performance and to display relevant content on third-party platforms.

Functional, analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you give consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 5).

  • Essential: store your language preference and keep the booking form working.
  • Functional: power features such as language switching and embedded media inside the booking flow.
  • Analytical: Google Analytics cookies set by Reservation.Tools to measure use of the widget; the data is anonymous.

The full list and durations are maintained by the vendor at reservation.tools/privacy-policy/.
