DESCRIPTION
The 2017 Domaine Maldant Pauvelot Collection Corton Renard Grand Cru offers a sensual experience you will not soon forget.
The bouquet exudes inspiring scents of juicy morello cherries, preserved wild berries and velvety acacia honey. Aged in barrique, hints of vanilla, tropical woods, sandalwood and a touch of coconut shell come to the fore.
AGEING
Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Cold maceration under carbon dioxide to protect aromas and colour. Aged for 16 months in oak barrels.
TASTING
On the palate, this Burgundy is wonderfully full-bodied and intense, with dense structure.
Impressive notes of liquorice and white tobacco unfold. Truly cinematic, with an endlessly long finish!
FOOD PAIRING
Serve at 13-18°C with hare "à la Royale" or Burgundy cheeses.
