In 1818 Madame Clicquot created the first rosé d'assemblage by adding a little red wine to her Yellow Label champagne. Since then, the rosé has been further refined into the rosé we treasure today. It is the non-vintage wines – the non-millésimés – that shape the reputation of a champagne house. Maison Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin has therefore committed itself in creating its champagne to the founder's motto "quality before quantity", in order to guarantee an outstanding level of quality.

PALATE:
Tiny pearls run through the pink-gleaming Veuve Clicquot Rosé with its warm copper tones. On the nose, this rosé is generous and refined. At first the nose is dominated by fresh red fruits, until notes reminiscent of biscuit, brioche, almond and apricot gradually appear. Powerful and balanced, a fruity harmony asserts itself on the palate. (Didier Mariotti)

PRODUCTION:
By blending the original Yellow Label (44–48% Pinot Noir, 13–18% Meunier and 25–29% Chardonnay) with red wine from specially selected black grapes (12%), a delicate pink colour and a balanced rosé are created. The blend contains 25–40% reserve wines, some of which are up to 20 years old.

FOOD PAIRING:
Enjoy chilled at 10-12°C. The intense fruit aromas of this Veuve Clicquot Rosé pair well with rich, smoky dishes. It is also perfectly suited as an aperitif or as a companion to fruit-based desserts.

We deliver in Sofia and across Bulgaria. Pickup available at the bar at 33 Sveti Kliment Ohridski Street during opening hours.
