2019 Oé Le Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Oé is a French organic wine producer making accessible, certified-organic cuvées with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Le Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is their Bordeaux flagship, sourced from the celebrated right-bank appellation.
Grape varieties: Merlot-led Bordeaux blend with Cabernet Franc.
Terroir: Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, right bank of the Gironde, with clay-limestone soils ideal for Merlot.
Vinification & ageing: Certified organic viticulture, traditional vatting and ageing in oak. 13.5% ABV.
COLOUR: Deep ruby with violet highlights.
NOSE: Black cherry, blackberry, plum, vanilla and a hint of cedar.
PALATE: Round and supple, with silky tannins, ripe dark fruit and a long, elegant finish.
FOOD PAIRING: Roast lamb, beef, mushroom dishes and aged cheeses.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2030.
