The Perrin family - owners of Château de Beaucastel - produce this Côtes du Rhône Réserve Blanc as a thoroughly drinkable, value-driven introduction to their southern Rhône style. Sourced from carefully selected parcels across the Rhône, it captures the warmth and aromatic richness of the region.
Grape varieties: Traditional southern Rhône white blend - Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, Bourboulenc and Viognier.
Terroir: Selected parcels across the southern Côtes du Rhône, with the area's characteristic stony soils and Mediterranean climate.
Vinification: Cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the wine's freshness, with a short period on fine lees for added texture.
COLOUR: Pale yellow with golden glints.
NOSE: White peach, honeysuckle, citrus, white flowers and a touch of Mediterranean herb.
PALATE: Fresh and aromatic, with rounded fruit, fine acidity and a clean, savoury finish.
FOOD PAIRING: A versatile partner for grilled fish, white meats, soft cheeses and Mediterranean fare. Serve at 9-11°C.
